Think Pink! Breast Cancer Tribute For Grandma

October is breast cancer awareness month! Everyone is wearing and thinking pink in honor of loved ones that have battled cancer. My grandmother, Veronica May, was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was in high school. She had a mastectomy and also went through radiation treatment.

My grandmother passed away about a month ago, however she beat breast cancer and lived until she was 92 years old. In honor of her life, I wanted to create a piece of jewelry to wear that reminded me of her.

Thankfully, I found these great pink ribbon beads from Blue Moon beads. For the holidays, I plan on making a bracelet for my family members as a piece of remembrance jewelry.
