Wedding Design Diary - A Fabulous Countryside Midwestern Affair

With only a few weeks before her big day, bride Erin contacted Earth Star Design Boutique to explore options for adding custom accessories to her wedding party for her special day. Our initial communications were over email, where she described the colors and theme of her special day. She provided a picture of the bridesmaids dress and a few extra details. I immediately started the creative process!
The location of Erin's wedding created an element that could not be reproduced, and was very sentimental. The bride and groom planned to wed on their grandparents property in Golden Eagle, Illinois. She also shared with me that during the ceremony the newlyweds would plant a tree!

To create the look I used a mix of Blue Moon beads, vintage chain, crystals and gold tone findings to create the perfect accessories. The focal point of the necklace was a leaf, which was a great way to pull the look together and to commemorate the tree planting ceremony.

In Golden Eagle, Illinois some very special memories were made during the mid-September affair. I was happy to work with this wedding party, and couldn't wait to see the pictures!
