Kids Jewelry Making Class at the Brentwood Public Library

Summer is here and most parents are looking for fun ways to keep their children busy! I recently taught a kids jewelry making class at the Brentwood Public Library in Brentwood, MO. Moms and daughters participated in a 90 minute class, learning all the professional tips and tricks for making a bracelet.

The girls started their projects by sifting through several containers full of Blue Moon Beads! There were so many shapes & sizes to choose from. Each student found their favorite beads and started to pull together a pattern.

Students learned how to use stretchy cord, tiger tail wire, crimps and toggle clasps to complete their projects. Everyone did such a great job organizing the materials in a pattern, using the tools and learning the basic techniques to make their own bracelets!
