Last night I went to the mall to spot new jewelry trends. The layered bracelet keeps popping up in stores and on celebrities. Instead of spending $40-$60 on a store bought bracelet, save your $$ and make it yourself!
My next project, "Arm Candy", is the hottest jewelry trend for the summer. In order to make a bracelet that looks like it came from a high fashion boutique, you will need to find a variety of chain to work with.
Blue Moon Beads has the best selection of chain on the market. The variety of chain types, textures and colors is fuel for creativity! For this piece of arm candy, I used three different chain types and a strand of beads. The yellow ribbon is actually woven into the larger silver chain, adding a pop of color to this bracelet. Use a large lobster claw and toggle clasp as findings so all of the pieces join well together to finish the look.
